This is the first exhibition to explore Picasso's lifelong connections with Britain. Bringing together over a hundred and fifty works from major public and private collections around the world, this show charts Picasso's rise in Britain as a figure both of controversy and celebrity, tracing the ways in which his work was exhibited and collected here during his lifetime.
Wonderful to see how Mr. Picasso inspired many of our Greatest Modern Artists. Duncan Grant, Wyndham Lewis, Ben Nicholson, Henry Moore, Francis Bacon, Graham Sutherland and David Hockney are all included. Another beautiful show from the Tate Britain gang... just go see!
