Depeche Mode - the Delta Machine tour hits London. The tunes are dark, the band wear black. The lights are bright, the crowd love them... it's Depeche Mode.
It was singer Dave Gahan that stumbled on the phrase “depeche mode” when he was browsing through a magazine stand. Depeche Mode is the name of a French fashion magazine—a name that can be translated as “fast fashion.” - I like that!
The groundbreaking, chart-topping electronic legends released Delta Machine, their 13th studio album back in March. It also lends it's name to their latest world tour. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore sang their way through 20 tracks in total. Delivering a mixture of classics and new material. Unfortunately, the supporting light show and graphics were not quite as slick... but a high point had to be the montage of dogs used to support Precious, very entertaining - woof!
