>NOISES OFF

Novello Theatre, London
28 June 2012

Noises off - a naughty, trouser-dropping farce of a show! A wonderful dose of sea-side-smut in the heart of London Town.

What a hoot of a show, a belly laugh bonanza that has to be one of the funniest things we have ever enjoyed. A brilliant old classic brought to life by a wonderful troop. Perfectly cast and all masters of comedy timing. Played out over 3 scenes, this show kept up a hearty momentum and never failed to bang out the laughs.

Celia Imrie is a one of our favourite actress's and she was fantastic as the slightly up-herself actress playing the dim housekeeper (the inspiration for Acorn Antique’s Mrs Overall perhaps...?)... A friend of mine from the Isle of Wight knows Celia and managed to get me a signed photo - how nice!
