A perpetual live soundscape that may well be a match for any ‘fledgling’ post-rock star......The Curve is one of those art events that just demands your attention… We beg to differ!
Ok - this sounded better on paper - live finches playing electric guitars that are wired to amps... In reality a slightly disappointing and unsettling installation! We left the Barbican feeling unfulfilled and a little worried for the welfare of the star attractions! The brochure states that the birds had been supplied by a specialist agency who provide animals for artistic projects... so that makes it ok then!!??!! whatever next!
