Hypnotic paper fractals!
I stumbled across these beautiful hand cut paper sculptures while reading BORNE magazine in the sun. Jen Stark creates these works of art from 30-50 sheets of brightly coloured construction paper, delicately slicing one sheet at a time to build the layers and give wonderful depth. She has studied art in Baltimore and more recently in France. Her work has been seen in many solo and group shows around the world. She also produces trippy felt-tip illustrations and warped short animations. Go check her site for more examples of work!
