A quick weekend away to enjoy a bit of time with the family. On the way up we take the opportunity to visit Waddesdon Hall and Gardens. Set in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, this splendid hall is home to the Rothchild collection - a priceless treasure trove of paintings, sculpture and temporary exhibits. We take a leisurely wander through the ornate gardens and finish the day with a lovely cuppa after enjoying an exhibition of fab paintings by Eliot Hodgkin.
