North Wales - We take a trip to this wonderfully rugged part of the world... Snowdonia National Park has some of the highest peaks and best views in Britain. It also can claim some of the oldest rocks on earth. A spectacular destination for a special weekend.
Another weekend away, this time, it's Wales! We travel across the Solent on Friday 1st and drive up to Bromsgrove, at just over half way to our destinationour, it's our resting place for the night. Sat 2nd is grey and damp... but we don't let this stop us from heading off on the next leg of our journey. Today we drive west towards the Snowdonia national Park and enjoy the epic views as we go.
Talhenbont Hall is located in the beautiful Llyn peninsula in picturesque North Wales, near to the pretty beach town of Criccieth which is just 2 miles away. It’s just 35 minutes from Bangor and 2 hours from Chester. We are lucky enough to be staying here, in one of the charming little cottages that is in the grounds of the Hall. Situated in 100 acres of private ancient woodland and gardens, Talhenbont really is a stunning location!
