Friday 22nd - The Solent is swathed in fog... Ferries are being delayed and our chums may not make it over!!... Luckily they do and we all head out to Bonchurch. The daylight is fading as we pull up in the car... The sound of the sea and distant foghorns helps to set the scene. We unpack, sort the rooms and get down to enjoying our first eve. Cheers!
Saturday 23rd - The fog has lifted to reveal a gorgeous sunny day... the temperature is already way above average and we need to make the most of these unseasonably tropical temperatures! We jump in the cars and hears straight over to Shanklin where we play a round of pirate Golf followed by heaps of ice cream in the sizzling sunshine. An evening of Murder & Mystery is a great way to round off a fabulously fun day.
Sunday 24th - Another stunning day. We are up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before a quick tidy up. Sunday lunch at the Blacksmiths Arms is a lovely way to end a brilliant weekend on the Isle of Wight!
