> BERLIN IN THE AUTUMN

Berlin, Germany
2-4 Nov 2018
Berlin - The city that never stops giving. We re-visit a few of the popular attractions, and once again, discover what makes the bear roar!

Another trip to this fascinating City. This time we travel with Carl and Annette. We enjoy a early morning flight from London City Airport and arrive in Berlin early afternoon. Accommodation was in a fab apartment on Swinemünder Straße, close to the Berlin Wall Museum.

Friday 2nd - Once unpacked and settled in, we go explore the streets around our apartment. A pop-up food market is our first stop, then off to get provisions for dinner. In the eve we walk around some of the top sights.

Saturday 3rd - Up early to get the most of the day. We are out to undrestand a bit more aboout the darker side of this City... we go to the Topography of Terror, the Jewish Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. Next up, we meet up with Mark and Chris who are also in town! We enjoy a few drinks @ Supersonico, then back to our apartment before heading over to visit Mark and Chris's pad in Neukölln... another quick drink then out for a meal before heading for more liquid refreshment @ Bar Alex on Alexanderplatz.

Sunday 4th - A few more hours left to explore... we take a ride on several trains and enjoy the views. Then a light lunch @ Me Collectors Room before heading off to the airport.

Another fabulous deep-dive in to this wonderful City that is so full of stories.
