Ventnor Fringe - The mini-cultural festival on the isle of Wight that is getting bigger and better by the year! We don't need an excuse to pop over to Ventnor, but this jsut gives us another reason to head south!
Dave and I headed over to Ventnor in the afternoon to take maximum advantage of the sunshine. This year we stayed the night at the Wellington Hotel, allowing us to make the most of the creative buzz. Early eve we had a fantatstic Tapas meal at the El Toro Contento Restaurant before heading to the Pier street Playhouse to enjoy a clever and quite moving piece of storytelling from Gaudy Bunting, other wise known as Hazel Marks and Katharine Piercey, their show "How To Never Forget Anything Ever Again" was a bitter sweet comedy with real heart. Thank you Ventnor Fringe for another lovely few days.
It's been called "A wonderland of pop-up bars and secret venues housing an eclectic, boutique multi-arts festival." We quite agree!!
