>THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING

Sadler's Wells, London
27 March 2012

The Most Incredible Thing - beautiful music, fantastic dancing and visuals to transport you to another dimension. TMIT is a treat for all the senses.

Following its sell-out success in 2011, pop legends Pet Shop Boys and maverick choreographer Javier De Frutos bring their Evening Standard Theatre Award-winning contemporary ballet, The Most Incredible Thing, back to the main stage.

This modern fairytale based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fable, adapted by Matthew Dunster, centres on a contest to produce ‘the most incredible thing’, with a prize of half the kingdom and marriage to the princess at stake.

The score - classic PSB! An uplifting mix of orchestral and euro-pop. Perfect for the energetic cast to strut and drift around to. The movement - angular contortions and classic, merging to form visual harmony with the modern stage design and mighty projections. The visuals - film work created by Tal Rosner, fairytale staging dreamt up by Katrina Lindsay.

At the end of the performance, Chris and Neil joined the cast on stage to soak up the appreciation from the adoring crowd... Bravo!

What and incredible way to enjoy our first visit to Sadler's Wells!
