One of the most influential and enigmatic fashion designers of the last forty years, Yohji Yamamoto creates magical clothes! Each one of the fabrics used in his collections are made to his specifications by different craftspeople in and around Kyoto. Strong silhouettes and simple forms create bold, beautiful outfits that are fluid, lightly structured and artistic in execution. Beautifully simple staging really helped to bring the clothes to life... Great work form the V&A team as always.
