White Cube - Mason's Yard, London

...love rarely comes easily and if it does, it usually goes quite quickly. And there is death, and loss, which at some point in our lives we all have to deal with. Tracey Emin
Tracey Emin (born 1963) is one of Britain's most influential artists. Her art takes many different forms of expression including needlework and sculpture, drawing, video and installation, photography and painting.
This show contains drawings, machine stitching on blankets, rough animations, sculpture and exciting text based works in neon. Everything is simple and linear, straight to the point. Graphic in places and highly personal, nothing is left to the imagination... and as Emin states in her own words - "There is a simplicity and modesty about this show that has made me feel very happy and complete, like I have gone a full circle and I’m back to what I really know."
Really rewarding show from the first Lady of British shock art.
