Powerful and provocative! These new works by Marcus Harvey ruffle the feathers of the establishment and prove that the spirit of punk is still alive and most definitely kicking!!!

In 1997 Marcus Harvey's infamous portrait of Myra Hindley shocked the art world! - Today, His new works are proving to be just as controversial! Holding court over 'White Riot' is the incredible 'Maggie'. At 440cm x 366cm, this huge sculpture / monotone painting is an amazing 3D piece of political satire! And as Harvey states... 'it’s not exactly feminine and it does come with a pungent whiff of testosterone'. Shock art at it's best!

Mr Churchill also gets the 'Marcus Harvey' treatment and becomes
'a new icon, not a cartoon' -
(in Harvey's own words).
Look at Maggie from the side and you get a completely different perspective! -
15,000 plaster-cast objects ranging from vegetables to sex toys, comedy masks to human skulls... naughty and funny, powerful and very clever!
