Burlesque with a twist!
The Arts Theatre, located in the heart of London's busy West end, was a fab venue for an evening of glamour and sophisticated entertainment. This was the closing night of the short lived 'Burlesque extravaganza' and we were really glad to have had the chance of an audience with these infamous performers... In the flesh!!!
Immodesty and her trusty sidekick, Walter, teased, jiggled and bounced through numerous hi-camp numbers. A wonderful support cast of dancers and artists kept the show 'wobbling' along very nicely indeed. Walters act, where he transformed himself from the marquis de sard to Britney via ZZ top, was a particular hi-light!
I was also lucky enough to get my programme signed by the stars and cast... How kind!
